My 2020 step-on boats and bindings arrived on October 7, 2019! I'm lucky to be part of the early release. My big worry - would they fit?

Size Warning: These boots run small. I bought a slightly used pair of the 2019 Ruler - size 9.5 - last March. I usually wear a 9, so I figured I was good - NO! I have wide feet, and the left boot was tight.

I decided to try them anyway - taking advantage of the Memorial day snow at Heavenly. Yikes! Painful! So, I resigned to sell them and buy a new pair of size 10's in the Fall for the 2019/20 season.

So, here we are, and here's how they feel: First of all... they're hard to get into. But I got the hang of it. You gotta bend the tongue forward, and eventually, I slipped in there. The right foot feels great! Left foot feels ok, but it's a tick tight at the wide part of my (wide) foot. (But way better than the 9.5 which was a total disaster.)

I got a chat going with customer support. She said these boots run tighter than regular ones and would break in with use - that's all I needed to hear. (It's just ever-so-slightly tight.)

I hear there's a wider size coming in November - but these puppies are pretty hard to get, so I'm gonna cross my fingers and hope. Stay tuned!
