Mist Falls, Kings Canyon National Park

On Memorial Day 2013, while Yosemite was ridiculously crowded, Kings Canyon was nearly empty. The biggest attraction in the park is the General Grant sequoia tree — the second largest tree in world. It's one of those big fatty trees with enough lumber to fuel the fires of hell until kingdom come. We, however, hiked to Mist Falls. It's a great river hike that evolves into one waterfall after another. About 9 miles round trip... if you like rushing water and rapids... you'll love this hike!

I strung together video of various sections. Enjoy!
